The result is a strong and durable thermoset composite material; it can be cut or shaped into any size, is impact resistant and can be seamed to itself with virtually invisible seams. Karadon horizontal surfaces are a seaworthy compliment to any vessel. Karadon is an acrylic modified polyester based material used for countertops, tabletops, tub surrounds and similar applications. The product inhibits gas or fume emissions when heated to high temperatures and provides high tensile strength and low elongation.
