Orologio Yacht Club

The Orologio Yacht Club is the nautical club that has its premises in the Darsena of the Orologio. Its goals are: spreading the passion for the sea with the respect for the environment, organizing sporting events and others, promoting teaching courses related to the art of navigation generally. Founded in 1993, the Orologio Yacht Club has played over the years one of the leading roles of Caorle’s nautical scene. It has been realizing events which have always aroused a great deal of interest. First of all we recall the brilliant motornautical season successfully promoted from 1993 to 1998 with the prestigious races of the Italian Offshore Championship, I-II-III Classes. Another nice historical event of the Club since the beginning is “Cerca la Vela”, combining sailing boats and motorboats, sailing from Caorle to Cittanova (Croatia).

Marina Primero is one of the most efficient and competitive harbours set in the Adriatic Sea. More than 270 moorings for boats up to 20 metres' length and 5.000 square metres for technical assistance and maintenance are available. A travel-lift of 80 tonnes is capable of handling all but the largest craft. It operates alongside a hardstand area, with water and electricity, where boats can be hauled out for maintenance.
